The Deposit Educational Endowment Program is a 501c3 organization, started by the Deposit Rotary and evolved into a volunteer community organization. The main purpose is to generate scholarships for graduates of Deposit Central School, awarded only to those students continuing their education.

Funds are continously invested in an endowment so that dividends and interest earned pay for scholarships. A total accumulated donation of at least $5,000 creates a one year scholarship and a minimum of $10,000 creates a two year scholarship.
