Deposit Events Committee
The Events committee is holding its first pumking growing contest! Seeds will be available in Village Hall beginning May 15th and will be given out for as long as our supplies last. There will be a Face Book page for people to post pictures of their pumpkins as they grow. At the Octoberfest the pumpkins will be weighed. Deposit's Flea Market is held every Saturday commencing on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and continuing through the first Saturday after Labor Day. The event is held on the grounds of the Masonic Lodge at 206 Front Street and is open for business from 9:00 AM til 4:00 PM. Call the Masonic Lodge at 607-467-3209 or 607-467-1645 for additional information. Free parking, free admission, something for everyone. Don't miss it! Look for direction signs along the way. Always room for additional vendors.
State Theatre
The State Theatre needs to go digital by December 31, 2013. The original cost was $63,145.83 and they have already raise $32,145.83, leaving a balance of $31,000 left to be rasied. Saturday, May 12, 2012: The Deposit Historical Society 11th Annual Old Time Folk and Craft Fair
From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Enjoy a variety of special crafters, delicious food, plants for sale and more at this great event. Musical entertainment from 11 AM to 1 PM. Something fun for everyone! Held on the grounds of the Deposit Historical Society, 145 Second St., Deposit.
Deposit Masonic Flea Market
Starts May 26, 2012 and continues thru Septmeber 8, 2012. Saturdays from 9AM - 4PM on the Deposit Masonic grounds. Watch for signs. Something for everyone. Free parking. Food concession available. Additional vendors welcome. More info? Call 607-467-3209 or 467-1645.
Saturday, June 30th, 2012: The 2nd Annual Community Dinner Picnic at the Deposit Fireman’s Field
Begins at 5 pm. Pack your picnic baskets or purchase food from one of our vendors. We will be having kids games and prizes and the evening will conclude with fireworks at dark thirty. Admission and parking are free, but donations are accepted.
Deposit Mason's Circus
Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Warner Community Park, Main St. two shows 5:30 & 7:30 PM. Tickets available at the Apothecary Gift Shop, Catalia's Restaurant, Koo Koose Grille or any Mason. Tickets are $12 in advance or $14 at the door, children 14 and under are free when accompanied by an adult, and in possession of a free ticket, limit 2 children per paying adult.
